Last Tuesday, we opened the new rooms to our e-Office with a drink (by the way: how much later after an event it actually is still legitimate to write a blog entry).

Of the 10 liters of delicious Füchschen Alto entire 1.5 liters remain. It was also really tight in our two areas 89 and 89A, 30 eLearning-Interessiert/ehemalige training participants had come. In addition, prominent visit:

• of the new CIO Jan Gerken .

showed Mr. Aleman of the short Lecturnity recording of his lecture, where we had stepped in quickly with pre-production, so that students will be able to see him on video when he is prevented by other commitments. Then, the lecture was played in two blocks of 20 minutes each, during a break in the lecture hall, students could discuss with a member.

Otherwise, the opening offered many good opportunities for informal exchange among themselves such matters as the presentation software Prezi and challenge in the transfer of learning content from other learning systems in ILIAS (for those who are familiar with it: it was and is still to HTML-Module/ILIAS-Lernmodule).

I think we should create such opportunities for informal exchanges and more moderate then maybe something in order to realize a secure earnings. Get there in time future research towards open space, brainstorming methods, etc. - if there is air time;).

There was also the occasion for a progress report of our work. On the whole, a very successful event. Wonder if it at other universities in the field of eLearning similar informal meetings are ...?
